Every landscape we design begins with a sensitive response: to our clients, to place, to architecture, to the natural world. From this we shape atmospheric, abundant places that are heightened versions of nature itself. Through considered design, these frame and amplify the setting, rather than compete with it.

Harry has a deep connection with the natural world, having grown up in a family of horticulturists. He trained with designers, landscape contractors and nurseries across the UK and Australia before founding Harry Holding Studio in London in 2016.
Recognised among House & Garden's Top 50 Garden & Landscape Designers and Spear's Best Landscape Designers, he has shown multiple gardens at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show: the People's Choice Award in 2023, a Feature Garden in 2024, and a 2026 commission with the Eden Project. Alongside teaching at the London College of Garden Design at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, he is the author of Eat Your Garden (Chelsea Green, May 2026) and one of ten designers selected for the British Library's landmark publication Gardens of the Future.

After a successful career in sound design working on some of the best film and television, Alex followed a long-held passion into landscape and garden design. A childhood in the Scottish Highlands instilled a deep love of plants that continues to shape his work. Senior Designer at HHS since 2020, Alex takes a lead role on many of the studio's projects. He has a passion for planting design, and enjoys travelling to see plant communities in the wild.

Growing up exploring the parks and hidden wild spaces of London, Chloë’s background in Fine Art naturally led her to combine an artistic eye and a deep love of nature with a career in Garden Design. She brings a curiosity and care for connecting with people, understanding place and bringing a space to life through that relationship. With experience at Landscape Architecture practices and out in the field as a gardener, Chloë joined HHS in 2025.
