We are absolutely delighted to have won an award at the Society of Garden Designers 2024 awards ceremony for our Earls Court Oasis Project. It is an honour to be recognised amongst some great friends, colleagues, mentors and peers.
We designed this small London garden to be a nourishing and shady oasis within the busy streets of the city. Our client wanted to reconnect with their magical memories of growing up in the lush environments of Australia, so we created this multi-layered planting design with a tapestry of textures, shades of green and architectural forms. The softer planting is juxtaposed against bold geometric forms of contemporary hard landscaping, a material palette of steel and plank pavers, which establish a dialogue with the clients modern interiors. Sensations of mystery and intrigue inspire a reason to journey through the garden to a private deck where they can entertain and enjoy the last of the evening sun.
