Green Walls In Schools

We have partnered with CREW energy and Biotecture to start a fantastic initiative – securing government grant money and installing green walls in schools which are deprived of green space. School playgrounds in South London are having green revolutions and being transformed with living walls. The pupils get involved with the planting whilst we discuss all the wonderful benefits of plants and nature. The planting design is always interactive and educational – strawberries, rosemary, thyme and heaps of pollinator plants make for a sensory and wildlife-friendly space.

We are excited to continue with greening the grey of inner city London!

A quote from the head teacher of Fircroft Primary School in Tooting:

“I just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with our Green Wall! The children are really excited about it and staff and parents have been highly complimentary, saying how much it lifts the playground environment. I would also like to add that the team were a delight to have here and absolutely brilliant with the kids.”

Below is a news article written up in the Garden Design Journal about the initiative.
