Our brief was to transform this inner city garden into an oasis within the busy streets of Earls Court, London. The planting design uses a tapestry of textures, shades of green and architectural forms to evoke the tropics of Australia, where our clients were raised, while remaining largely climate-adapted for the harsher conditions of London.

Sensations of mystery and intrigue invite a journey through the space to a raised, private deck at the rear of the garden, where the family can entertain and enjoy the last of the evening sun. A contemporary materials palette of corten steel and granite plank paving sits in juxtaposition to the softer planting, designed to form a relationship with the modern interior of the house.
